Agumon, Gaomon, and Lalamon's partners, along with the rest of the city's population, have been placed in a magical slumber by mysterious, thorned vines that spread throughout the city. As the Digimon make their way through the silent city, they stumble upon a pack of Goblimon led by an Ogremon, who are attacking a young girl. After they scare off the goblins, the girl, Rhythm, reveals that she is actually a Digimon, and that the thorns are the work of a Digimon named Argomon. The quartet sets out to confront the villain atop his skyscraper nest.
On the way to the castle, Gaomon stays behind to hold off an army of Goblimon. After Lalamon flies Agumon and Rhythm near the top of Argomon's lair, she stays behind as well to hold off an attacking swarm of Pipismon. Agumon and Rhythm find Argomon at the top of the tower, spreading his vines throughout the city. Argomon seems too strong for Agumon to face at first, but Agumon's "Spitfire Blast" is able to knock the creature out. However, Argomon digivolves to its Mega form and turns the tide of the battle. After Agumon takes a severe beating and is just about to give up, he remembers how Marcus would never give up, no matter what, and this determination frees Marcus from his coma. Marcus arrives at the scene and punches Argomon to activate his D.N.A., which he uses to digivolve Agumon to ShineGreymon. Despite faring better against Argomon, ShineGreymon is still not strong enough to win the battle, and Argomon shatters his GeoGrey Sword. In response, Marcus just becomes more determined, evoking the Burst Charge, which is supplemented by Rhythm's wish for ShineGreymon to win. With these, ShineGreymon digivolves to ShineGreymon Burst Mode, and impales Argomon through the chest with his sword, killing the evil Digimon. After the battle, Rhythm gives Agumon a kiss.
Takuya Kanbara, Koji Minamoto, J.P. Shibayama, Zoe Orimoto, Tommy Himi, Bokomon, Neemon ride a Trailmon (Ball) through a desert when they get caught in a battle between human and beast Digimon. It is interrupted by the Lost Island, an island trapped between dimensions, crashing down between them and scooping all involved up.
Six months after the D-Reaper was destroyed, the Tamers are planning to throw Rika a surprise party, but Rika finds out. Suddenly a train-Digimon named Locomon begins to race around the tracks, causing havoc. The Tamers respond to this, as Takato digivolves Guilmon into Growlmon to stop the train Digimon but fails as Takato, Rika and Renamon get on it in an attempt to slow it down. The others, excluding Suzie, use a freight train to catch up with Locomon
Omnimon confronts Mephistomon (who was formed from Apocalymon's data) in a dark corner of the Digital World over Mephistomon's attempt to destroy both the Digital World and the Real World and incorporate the data in order to become truly invincible. They fight, but then Mephistomon sees a chance and slips into the Real World.
Diaboromon makes a return to the net, and the DigiDestined are quick to act, unaware that Diaboromon has a couple more tricks up his sleeve since their last encounter.
While T.K. and Kari visit Mimi in New York City, Wendigomon captures Tai, Matt, Sora, Izzy, Mimi, and Joe. The two enlist Davis, Yolei, Cody, and their Digimon to come to the United States to fight him. On the way, Davis and the others meet Willis (ウォレス, Wallace), an American DigiDestined partnered with Terriermon. Willis reveals that he had two Digimon partners, the other being Kokomon (チョコモン, Chocomon), who had been corrupted by a virus. During battle, T.K. and Kari's Digimon, Seraphimon and Magnadramon, unlock two golden Digi-eggs for Davis and Willis to use, which Golden Armor Digivolves their partners into Magnamon and Rapidmon. The two defeat Wendigomon, allowing the older DigiDestined to return, and Davis' group returns to Japan. On the way home, Willis finds Kokomon's Digi-egg on the beach.
One day, a mysterious Digi-egg appears before the screen, evolving into an evil Digimon, and swallowing in digital data but, the children and their Digimon unite once more in order to prevent him.
In Tokyo, a creature hatches from an egg that emerges from a computer screen in the home of Taichi Yagami / Taichi "Tai" Kamiya and his younger sister Hikari Yagami / Kari Kamiya. Upon being cared for by the children, it transforms into a dinosaur-like creature that begins wandering the streets of the city. A second egg appears in the sky over Tokyo, from which a bird-like creature emerges. Taichi, Hikari, and several other children witness the two creatures fight; with Taichi and Hikari's encouragement, the dinosaur emerges victorious and both creatures vanish.

Seorang wanita misterius dengan tenang menerima tugas membantu seorang gadis histeris yang tidak mampu mengambil keputusan sendiri; keluarga Soichi mengadopsi seekor kucing peliharaan.
